2023 BPASF VIDEO SHOWCASE
The British Pole and Aerial Sports Federation are unable to hold a national competition this year but will be holding a virtual showcase if we get enough interest.
The idea is for athletes to put together a routine that aligns with their competition discipline, divisions and categories code of points. The athlete would video it at their home studio and send it to the BPASF. All disciplines, divisions and categories are eligible to enter, including the new group category. This would be like a video entry for a competition but just for fun and the experience with no judging as it will not be a competition. These will then be shown on a Zoom link in the evening on Sunday 20th August with audience being invited to make a donation to watch. While these routines will not be judged they will be good practice for the next competition.
As this is a fun event and not a competition we will not expect full stage and equipment standards to be fully met. For instance with a pole routine you would still need two poles, one static and one spinning but if they were not the required height, thickness, material or separation it would still be acceptable.
